David Kalk

David Kalk is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Global Macro & Digital Assets at Commonwealth Asset Management, a dynamic asset management platform. David has over 10 years of experience in the industry, having moved across asset classes and investing in a variety of structures based on market conditions. Prior to joining CWAM, he spent 8 years at Thief Macro, most recently as Chief Investment Officer, where he specialized in hedge funds and family office investing. At Thiel, he served as the primary support role to the Fund’s President, Peter Thiel, in managing the majority of the Fund’s risk capital across all macro asset classes. Previously, he served as an Interest Rates Swaps Trader at Goldman Sachs, where he was an active market maker in interest rate derivatives and responsible for trading the entire yield curve and servicing a broad client franchise.
