David Sher

David Sher is the Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Greenbacker Capital. He is responsible for overseeing all strategic business development efforts at the firm. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Adviser at Prospect Capital, a publicly-traded closed-end investment company. A serial entrepreneur, Sher has co-founded at least three companies, including Lafayette Capital Management, ElephantX dot com, as well as ESP Technologies, a leading provider of financial software and services to institutional asset managers and hedge funds.
