Eric Jackson
Eric Jackson is the Founder and President of EMJ Capital, a technology-focused, long-short hedge fund. He is a tech and media investor with a non-traditional background. Eric has been an operator in a tech company, a consultant, an activist investor, and a scholar, who has managed to create one of the more remarkable weekly emails to date, focused on the financing of media and technology. His diverse experiences lend to a unique perspective with a track record for finding multi-year compounding companies early on. Prior to launching EMJ Capital, he was an activist investor in Yahoo and Viacom. He was a Managing Director at SpringOwn Event Driven Partners, and Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager of Ironfire Capital.

Eric was President of Jackson Leadership Systems from 2004 – 2010.
He was Vice President of Business Development at VoiceGenie Technologies Inc from 2000 – 2004.
During his time at VoiceGenie, he was responsible for raising 2 rounds of VC, and establishing reseller relationships with IBM, Sun, Oracle, Hitachi, and Unisys.
