Hasty Johnson is the Vice Chairman of Hines, one of the largest and most-respected real estate organizations in the world. He is a member of the firm’s Executive, Steering and Global Investment Committees, and is responsible for all investments. Since joining Hines in 1978, Hasty has held multiple senior leadership roles, including serving as Hines’ Chief Finance Officer, and prior to that led the development or redevelopment of numerous projects. He initiated the Hines acquisition program and the firm's investment management business. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Hasty has served on the Kinder Institute for Urban Research's advisory board since 2015.
As the most senior executive in Hines' Office of Investments, Hasty is responsible for all Investments and chairs the firm's Strategy Committee.

He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Industrial Engineering, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
