John Armitage

John Armitage is the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Egerton Capital. He is responsible for all portfolio management-related activities for Egerton’s equity long/short and equity long-only strategies. Armitage also worked for Morgan Grenfell where he had sole responsibility for the management of Morgan Grenfell European Growth Trust from its launch in 1988 until 1994. Specializing in Continental European equity research and fund management from 1983 onwards, Armitage has gained valuable knowledge across Europe and all major industry sectors.
