Jon Boyar is the President of Boyar Research, an independent equity research boutique, and Principal of Boyar Asset Management, a value-based money management firm. He is responsible for providing customized portfolio management services to Boyar Asset Management, and oversees Boyar Research’s various publications including Asset Analysis Focus and Boyar's Micro Cap Focus. Boyar has over 15 years of investment experience, with specialization in uncovering intrinsically undervalued U.S. based companies. Boyar serves as a contributor to Forbes.com and the host of the podcast The World According to Boyar. He is also a member of Investopedia's Financial Review Board and is a contributor to the latest edition of Harriman's Book of Investing. After graduating law school, he worked as a litigator at the nationally recognized medical malpractice defense law firm, Martin Clearwater & Bell.

He started his investment career at GAMCO Investors where he served in institutional sales.
