Jonathan Pollock is Equity Partner, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Trading Officer of Elliott Investment Management, one of the largest and oldest activist funds in the world. In his roles, he is responsible for the firm’s global situational investing, global trading, and operations. He also serves as a member of the Elliott’s Management, Risk, Valuation, Compliance and Operational Risk, and Allocation and Global Situational Investment Committees. He joined Elliott in 1989 as an analyst, later becoming a Senior Portfolio Manager. Pollock has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, he was an analyst at E.F. Hutton and Greenleaf Partners. Pollock has been featured at The New York Times, Business Insider, Financial Times, Reuters, and Fortune, among others.

In 1995, Pollock opened Elliott's London office and led the firm's European and Asian businesses for the next 14 years.
He also opened additional offices in both Hong Kong and Tokyo.
In 2009, he returned to the U.S. to become Head of Global Situational Investing. He was later promoted to Co-CIO in 2011 and Co-CEO in 2015.
