Kieran Goodwin is Chief Financial Officer of Rosecliff Acquisition Corp I, a tech-focused SPAC that operates as a blank check company. At Rosecliff, he has assembled a complementary differentiated team with the ability to massively accelerate growth for the company through merges with the SPAC. Goodwin spent over two decades at the frontier of credit investing. Previously, he was Founder, Co-Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Panning Capital Management, a long/short credit hedge fund with a peak AUM of $2.5 billion during his tenure. Before that, he was the Head of Trading and one of five partners and four members of the firm’s Global Investment Committee for funds with peak AUM over $20bn at King Street Capital Management. Goodwin has invested his own capital in both private and public markets since 2018. Today, he is an investor in many early-stage startups and currently serves on the board of various companies.

EARLY CAREER
As Head of Trading at King Street Capital Management, he was responsible for managing the firm’s 20 traders.
During Kieran’s time at King Street, the firm’s AUM grew from $4 billion to approximately $20 billion.
He also served as Managing Director at both UBS and Merrill Lynch, where he ran proprietary trading books.
He was a Managing Director in Fixed Income for Merrill Lynch where he ran proprietary trading books.
From 1991 until 1997, he was a trader in interest rate and credit derivatives at Smith Barney, Citigroup and Salomon Brothers.
