Mahmood Noorani is Co-Founder and CEO of Quant Insight, a quantitative financial market analytics and trading insights provider. Noorani is an experienced macro investor with a background as a rates derivatives trader, macro prop trader and hedge fund portfolio manager. He founded Quant Insights in 2014 to help people make the correct trade that aligns with their macro thesis. Since 2010, he has focused on quant finance and fintech, applying machine learning and other mathematical techniques to markets. Noorani started his career at Morgan Stanley and has since worked for firms including UBS, Credit Suisse, BlueCrest Capital and Citi Capital Advisors Global Macro Fund.

EARLY CAREER

Noorani started his career as an Associate at Morgan Stanley and later joined UBS as an Options Trader.
In 1996, he joined Greenwich NatWest as Trader and moved to Credit Suisse in 2000.
He served as a Portfolio Manager at BlueCrest, Citi Capital Advisors, and Millennium Capital Markets.
Prior to launching Quant Insight, he was a Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets.
