Marc Bhargava is a Managing Director at General Catalyst, a leading venture capital firm that makes early-stage and transformational investments. In his role, he leads GC's Creation strategy, which is focused on incubations as well as transformations and venture buyouts. He also focuses on early stage investing across both cryptocurrency and fintech, as well as building out the global seed strategy. Prior to joining General Catalyst, Marc spent years as a founder-operator with an emphasis on new fintech, AI, and crypto technologies. He co-founded Tagomi, one of the first institutional prime brokerages for digital assets which was acquired by Coinbase. Marc is also an angel investor and has worked closely with founders on sales, distribution, and fundraising, investing from his family office in early stage fintech, crypto, and AI/start-up tooling companies.
