Martin Leinweber is the Director of Digital Asset Research and Strategy at MarketVector Indexes, a leading European regulated index provider known for pioneering innovation in the digital asset and cryptocurrency indexing space. EARLY CAREER
Martin Leinweber spent nearly two decades managing active funds for major European institutional investors, developing deep expertise across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
At Quoniam, one of Germany’s leading quantitative asset managers, he managed active portfolios for institutional clients including insurance companies, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds.
Prior to that, Leinweber held several roles at MEAG, the asset management arm of Munich Re and ERGO, where he contributed to multi-asset strategy development and international expansion efforts.
His global experience includes supporting the establishment of a joint venture in Shanghai and Beijing with PICC, China’s largest insurance company, bringing European asset-management expertise to the Chinese market.
