Michael Germano
Michael Germano is Chief Executive Officer of Active Management and Chief Operating Officer at Mellon. He manages all aspects of the firm's $280 billion in active equity, fixed income, and multi-asset manager. He also oversees a major restructuring to be completed in the third quarter of 2021. Prior to this, Germano served as the Head of Strategy for BNY Mellon Asset Management. Apart from helping set and execute the strategic direction of the firm, he also led the marketing, communications, and public relations teams.

- In 2007, Germano joined BNY Mellon's Corporate Development team, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions.
