Michael Sonnenfeldt is the Founder and Chairman of TIGER 21, an exclusive global community of ultra high net worth entrepreneurs, investors, and executives. He is also the Chairman of MUUS & Company, a private investment company with a focus in alternative energy products and services. Sonnenfeldt is an accomplished serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, and political thought leader. Prior to launching TIGER 21, he led the world’s then-largest commercial renovation project, transforming the 2.4 million square foot Harborside Financial Center in Jersey City, NJ. He was also a former Chairman of Carmanah Technologies Corp., a public Canadian company that manufactures and distributes solar products and systems. In addition to his corporate endeavors, Sonnenfeldt has been involved in numerous nonprofit organizations focused on the environment and national security, among others.

EARLY CAREER
Sonnenfeldt founded and led Emmes & Company, a real estate investment boutique specializing in buying distressed portfolios.
In the 1980s, he conceived and initiated the Harborside Financial Center in Jersey City, NJ, the world's then-largest commercial renovation.
He has been a Senior Lecturer at MIT’s Sloan School of Management where he developed and co-taught a course on “Business and the Nation’s Security.”
Sonnenfeldt is past Chairman of the Israel Policy Forum, former Chairman of the Executive Committee of The United Nations Association, former Board Member of Business Executives for National Security, and former Board Member of the Synergos Institute.
He has also been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, Bloomberg, CNBC, and Real Vision among others.
PHILANTHROPY
Sonnenfeldt has been involved in various nonprofit organizations focused on the environment, national security, Middle East peace, and international peacekeeping.
He is also involved in the US/UN relationship, the removal of landmines and communal development.
Today, he is highly focused on fighting climate change through his philanthropic, financial and political activities.
