Michael Wu
Michael Wu is Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Amber Group, an integrated crypto financial services firm headquartered in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he was a Portfolio Manager at Arete Capital Partners, a billion-dollar hedge fund. He was also a Greater China FX and interest rates market maker and global macro prop trader at Morgan Stanley. Wu got his first real-work experience in finance as a Summer Quant Analyst at Goldman Sachs. While there, he met Coinbase founder Fred Ehrsam and got to work on his desk.

- After his high school graduation, Wu was accepted at the Mahindra United World College of India, an international school that has a cap of 200 students that are accepted from 87 different countries throughout the world. He graduated with his international baccalaureate degree in 2009.
- While attending Dartmouth, he was involved in various clubs and extracurricular groups, including Sigma Phi Epsilon, the Dartmouth Economics Reading Group, the Project Preservation 2010 Group in Poland, the International Business Council, and the Dominican Republic ASB.
