Tengler began her investing career in the 1980s and since then has led investment teams through bear markets, bull markets, bubbles and the aftermath.
She has also been a committed advocate for women's financial education and empowerment for over 40 years.
Most recently, she served as Chief Investment Officer at Heartland Financial where she was also a Director of Arizona Bank & Trust.
She has also served as President, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Fremont Investment Advisors in San Francisco.
Before that, she founded Global Alliance Value Investors and worked for UBS Asset Management as Head of the Value Equities Group.
