Oscar Gil Vollmer is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Appomattox, a financial services firm specializing in global asset allocation and fund selection. In his capacity, he is a Member of the Investment Committee responsible for operational due diligence and portfolio management, as well as managing the firm's financial and legal affairs. Oscar Vollmer has more than 14 years of direct experience managing diversified multi-asset portfolios. Prior to co-founding Appomattox, Oscar served at First Atlas Capital where he was ultimately responsible for identifying, evaluating, and structuring investments with several early-stage hedge funds for the firm’s hedge fund seeding platform.
At First Atlas Capital, Oscar served as Director for the Weston-Atlas Partners Fund, the firm’s hedge Funds seeding joint venture.
He was also a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on the financial services industry as well as mergers and acquisitions.
