Paul McNamara

Paul McNamara is a well-known fund manager in emerging market credit and currencies. Paul is an Investment Director at GAM, serving as the lead manager on hedge fund, emerging market bond, and currency long-only and unconstrained strategies. He joined GAM following its acquisition of the fixed income and foreign exchange specialist, Augustus, in 2009. He joined Augustus, then Julius Baer Investments Limited, in 1997 from the Export Credits Guarantee department of the UK Government Economics Services, where he served as an economist. He started his career as a lecturer at the University of Warsaw, following the completion of his master’s degree.
