- Fairbank started in financial services in 1985 when he created the banking practice at Strategic Planning Associates (now Mercer Management Consulting), where he was a partner.
- At Capital One, he is responsible for overseeing both the Company’s strategic direction as well as management of Capital One’s day-to-day operations
