Sean Lippel is a General Partner at FinTech Collective, one of the longest standing institutional investors in blockchain technology. Prior to his current role, he served as a Principal within FTC’s investment team and Head of Digital Assets, leading the firm's decentralized finance work. Lippel is a former entrepreneur and world-ranked poker player who helped bring the practice of "poker staking" online using data and analytics. Prior to joining FinTech Collective, he was an Investment Banker at Credit Suisse, where he covered financial services and technology companies.
He joined FinTech Collective in 2016 as a summer associate and later served as Director of Investments.
He has developed a keen judgement on markets, people, and the potential of what's possible through the funds he had been working on.
He has worked closely with the teams and on boards of FTC companies in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

He started his career as an Analyst at the Investment Banking Department at Credit Suisse.
Prior to joining FTC, he was a Pre-MBA Associate at the Transformation Consulting Practice within Salesforce.
