Structured finance is a non-transferable financial instrument offered to large financial institutions with complex financing requirements, which cannot be ordinarily solved with conventional financing. Traditional financiers do not usually offer structured financing. In most instances, it requires one or various discretionary transactions to be accomplished. Consequently, advanced and often risky instruments must be applied.
