Luuk Strijers
Luuk Strijers is the CEO of Deribit, a centralized, institutional-grade crypto derivatives exchange for options and futures. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the exchange, ensuring that the platform remains reliable and efficient for its global user base. Strijers has an extensive background in exchange trading with almost 20 years experience in listed products, ETFs, warrants, equities, derivatives, exchange matching and corporate finance. Prior to joining Deribit, he was amongst others responsible for listed products for SGX as the exchange's Director and Head of Products.

Under his leadership, Deribit has continued to grow as a leading platform for cryptocurrency futures and options trading.
He has committed to maintaining high standards of service and security for the exchange.
Prior to his current role, he served as Deribit's Chief Commercial officer, responsible for business development, sales and product.
As Director and Head of Products at SGX, he was involved in strategic opportunities to expand the product shelf of the exchange.
At SGX, he was also responsible for generating turnover, expanding product shelf and all relations with issuers, brokers, and market makers.
During his time at SGX, product turnover has grown from SGD15-20m on average per day to over SGD100m in Q3 2018.

Strijers as worked in the financial services and technology sectors. His career is marked by a focus on operational excellence and innovation in the trading platforms landscape.
He was Head of Business Development and Markets at TOM, responsible for all external relations and launching products and new services.
At SNS Securities, he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing various equity capital markets, debt capital markets and intermediate-capital transactions.
