Luuk Strijers
Luuk Strijers is Chief Commercial Officer at Deribit, a leading crypto derivatives exchange that offers futures, perpetual swaps, and options on Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. In his role, Luuk oversees the business development, sales, and products of the company. Luuk has over 15 years of extensive background and experience in exchange trading in listed products, ETFs, warrants, equities, derivatives, exchange matching, and corporate finance. Prior to joining Deribit, he was Director and Head of Products at SGX, where his responsibilities included the development and management of listed products within the securities segments, including ETFs, structured warrants, funds and ADR tradable.

EARLY CAREER
At SGX, Luuk was also responsible for generating turnover, expanding product shelf and all relations with issuers, brokers, and market makers.
During his time at SGX, product turnover has grown from SGD15-20m on average per day to over SGD100m in Q3 2018.
He was Head of Business Development and Markets at TOM, responsible for all external relations and launching products and new services.
At SNS Securities, he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing various equity capital markets, debt capital markets and intermediate-capital transactions.
