Peter Albano
Peter Albano is Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income at Oppenheimer, a multinational, independent investment bank and financial services company. In his role, Peter has expanded the firm's Taxable Fixed Income franchise to better serve Oppenheimer's institutional clients with expanded fixed income expertise, geographic reach, and intellectual capital. Under his leadership, Oppenheimer continues to focus on delivering customer-driven solutions to a diverse client base who require expertise in all fixed income capabilities, including Global Credit, Rates, and Structured Products. Peter is an experienced global head with a demonstrated experience in global capital markets. He is a financial services industry professional skilled in operational, regulatory, risk, product and personnel management.

Prior to joining Oppenheimer in 2013, he led the U.S. institutional client relationship management teams for BNP Paribas and Royal Bank of Scotland.
Previously, he worked at Bear Stearns where he held strategic management roles within fixed income sales and trading departments.
He served both domestically and internationally at Bear Stearns, ultimately running U.S. credit sales and global Emerging Market sales.
He also served as a Vice President for Salomon Brothers for four years.
He earned his BA in Economics and Spanish from St. John's University.
