Bill Demchak is the Chairman and CEO of PNC Financial Services, one of the largest diversified financial services companies in the country. He also served as the Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking responsible for PNC's middle market and large corporate businesses, as well as capital markets, real estate finance, equity management, and leasing. Demchak has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with specific expertise in credit and risk management. Prior to joining PNC in 2002, he was Global Head of Structured Finance and Credit Portfolio for JP Morgan Chase. He also held key leadership roles at JP Morgan prior to its merger with Chase Manhattan Corporation in 2000. He was a member of the company's capital and credit risk committees.

Demchak joined PNC as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for PNC's finance division, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, asset and liability management, and investor relations.
He was responsible for all of PNC's businesses, including Corporate & Institutional Banking, the Asset Management Group, Retail Banking and Mortgage Banking.
He was promoted to Senior Vice Chairman in 2009, Head of PNC businesses in 2010, CEO in 2013, and Chairman in 2014.
He assumed the top executive role at PNC Financial Services and its principal banking subsidiary, PNC Bank, in 2013.
