Peter Faigl
Peter Faigl is Senior Portfolio Manager at Old Hill Partners, an alternative lender headquartered in Darien, CT. CAREER
- Faigl started his career as an analyst at Bank of America Securities. He progressed to become one of the senior structurer in the Global ABS Group. He analyzed and stratified loan-level data, reverse-engineered deals from competing dealers, tied out cash flows with accountants, and provided Banking and deal management support.
- At UBS, he was responsible for structuring and optimal execution of both their asset-backed principal transactions as well as third-party underwriting commitments. He also developed models for various assets and implemented appropriate hedging strategies.
- At NewStar Financial, he helped the company develop both its structured finance securities and asset-backed investment businesses. Investment coverage included asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, whole loan acquisitions, direct asset-based loans as well as more esoteric transactions.
