Yves Perrier is the Honorary President and Chairman of the Board at Amundi, the leading European asset manager created from the merger of Crédit Agricole and Société Générale. Perrier is the architect of Amundi's creation and 2010, and was the CEO of the firm until 2021. Under his leadership, Amundi experienced strong growth and became the European leader in the asset management industry and one of the top ten in the world. In addition, Perrier has been serving as a member of the Crédit Agricole Executive Committee since 2003 and as Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole since 2015. In these roles, he supervised the Savings and Real Estate division and directed Crédit Agricole Group’s solidarity initiatives. Previously, Perrier was Head of Asset Management, Securities and Investor Services at Crédit Agricole, where he oversaw the creation of Amundi and was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of CACEIS, a leading European fund custodian and administrator.
Perrier played a key role in the company's listing on Euronext Paris in 2015.
He oversaw the acquisition of Pioneer Investments for €3.5bn in 2016 and Banco de Sabadell for €430m in 2020.
Under his leadership, Amundi has become a recognized leader in ESG.

EARLY CAREER
Perrier started his career in audit and consulting. He joined Société Générale where he later served as Chief Financial Officer.
He then moved to Crédit Lyonnais, where he was a member of the Executive Committee in charge of Finance, Risk and General Inspection.
In 2003, he led the creation of Calyon, now Crédit Agricole CIB. He was its Deputy Chief Executive Officer until 2007.
He was responsible for structured finance, brokerage, risk, support functions and international network.
