Nick Lawson is the Founder and CEO of Ocean Wall, a market-leading investment house specializing in all aspects of niche alternative investing. He is an early stage equity and debt investor in UK technology, healthcare and university IP with over 30 years of experience in running complex equity businesses and advising on the more difficult and niche aspects of asset pricing. Prior to launching Ocean Wall, he was a Partner and Head of Strategic Capital Solutions at Arrowgrass Capital, where he developed both close ties with many of the world's leading asset allocators and a close understanding of their investment needs and target. Before that, he spent 17 years at Deutsche Bank, where he built the No.1 rated Special Situations and Merger Arbitrage Desk and served as Global Head of Macro and Synthetic Equity. Today, he also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Deutsche Bank Investment Partners, and Chairman and Investment Director at Chorus Intelligence.

CAREER
Lawson is the Founding Chair of ALMT, a £6m regranting children’s charity with over 140 projects that he set up in 2006.
From 2004 to 2015 at Deutsche Bank, he built and ran the world's most profitable merger arbitrage and special situations platform.
He was a Director for ABN AMRO, the third largest bank in the Netherlands, before joining Deutsche bank in 1998.
