Tom Price
Tom Price is a Managing Partner of J. Stern & Co., an investment partnership building on the Stern family's 200-year old banking heritage. He helps clients achieve their objectives by running the J. Stern & Co.'s legal, compliance and operations functions. An expert in running and building financial services firms, Tom has extensive experience in private investments, debt financing, derivatives, and investment products. He has expertise in assisting asset and wealth managers, improving their focus on clients, while taking responsibility for risk, compliance and operations. Tom also has extensive commercial and legal background in funds, asset management firms and financial transaction structuring and execution. Tom has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Stanhope Capital, a London-based wealth manager.

Tom builds on his experience in wealth management and the law to ensure the professional delivery of J. Stern & Co. 's services.
At Stanhope Capital, he was responsible for finance, operations, IT, HR, legal & compliance, and due diligence teams.
He was also Director for International Oil and Gas Technology Ltd., responsible for the Quorum Oil and Gas Technology Fund.
He was a Consultant at Morgan Stanley's Corporate Equity Derivatives Desk and Managing Director for DAM Capital Management Sarl.
Tom was Counsel for Dechert, where he structured and set up a variety of funds, and advised clients on all aspects of their businesses.
He was a Senior Associate at Shearman & Sterling, where he advised private equity and hedge funds on all matters relating to their businesses.
He started his legal career within the floor of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he worked for 5 years.
Tom was an Advisory Board Member for Gulland Padfield, where he provided support for the partners of the firm.
