Brent Donnelly
Brent Donnelly is the President of Spectra Markets, the digital media division of Spectra FX. Donnelly is a notable macroeconomic and currency analyst who has been trading currencies since 1995 and writing about macro since 2004. He is a respected global macro thinker with a unique perspective of a senior risk taker. Throughout his career, he has been a market maker, trader, and senior manager at numerous top banks in foreign exchange. Prior to joining Spectra, Donnelly was a G10 FX Trader at HSBC, where he has also written the widely-acclaimed macro and FX daily AM/FX. He has held major trading roles at investment banks and hedge funds with a strong emphasis on the FX and Global Macro, where he has been involved in both market-making and proprietary roles. He has worked at several illustrious firms in the markets, including Citibank, Merrill Lynch, Royal Bank of Canada, Lehman Brothers, Graham Capital, and Nomura.
