Stefan Klauser is the CEO and Chairman of aisot, the next-generation AI for asset management providers. Under his leadership, aisot leverages machine learning, large language models, and quantitative methods to deliver precise, real-time investment insights. Stefan is a political scientist and fintech expert contributing to the rise of distributed participatory networks. Prior to founding aisot, he worked as Project Lead Finance 4.0 at ETH Zürich where he specialized in data-driven innovation and interdisciplinary research. He also co-founded BETH - Blockchain School for Sustainability, formerly BIOTS, and served as Head of Task Force of the Climate City Cup. In addition, Stefan is a co-author and editor of a number of books at the intersection of fintech and sustainability.

Academic History

EARLY CAREER

  • Stefan led the Finance 4.0 project as the Chair of Computational Social Science at ETH Zürich and was also responsible for strategy, community building and outreach for the organization.

  • He worked at the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation where he was responsible for the conception and implementation of international innovation initiatives and Switzerland’s representation in the OECD Global Science Forum. 

  • He also worked for the Swiss Embassy in Washington DC in the area of Science, Technology and Higher Education. 

  • He co-founded Climate City Cup, a gamified platform that allows individuals and organizations to compete and collaborate in fighting climate change.

  • Stefan is co-author and editor of a number of books at the intersection of fintech and sustainability.

  • He has been a speaker at the World Web Forum, Web Summit, Finance Fair Zurich, Rise London, Google Zurich, and World Innovation Economics.
