Stefan Klauser is the CEO and Chairman of aisot, a next-generation AI platform for asset management that uses advanced machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and quantitative methods to deliver precise, real-time investment insights for financial institutions. A political scientist and fintech expert, Stefan has been a driving force in the development of distributed participatory networks and the integration of AI in finance. Before founding aisot, he served as Project Lead for Finance 4.0 at ETH Zürich, where he focused on data-driven innovation and interdisciplinary research in emerging financial technologies. He also co-founded BETH – Blockchain School for Sustainability (formerly BIOTS), an initiative at the intersection of blockchain and environmental impact, and led the Climate City Cup Task Force, promoting climate-conscious innovation. Stefan is also a co-author and editor of several influential publications exploring the convergence of fintech, sustainability, and digital transformation, contributing thought leadership to academia, industry, and policy discussions.

EARLY CAREER
Before founding aisot, Stefan Klauser led the Finance 4.0 project as part of the Chair of Computational Social Science at ETH Zürich, where he was responsible for strategic direction, community building, and outreach initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he worked at the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, where he developed and implemented international innovation initiatives and represented Switzerland at the OECD Global Science Forum.
He also served at the Swiss Embassy in Washington, D.C., focusing on science, technology, and higher education diplomacy.
In addition, he co-founded the Climate City Cup, an innovative gamified platform that empowers individuals and organizations to compete and collaborate in the fight against climate change.
