Tavi Costa is a Partner and Macro Strategist at Crescat Capital, a global asset management firm that manages capital for institutions and family offices. He is responsible for developing Crescat’s macro models in line with the firm’s thematic investment process. Tavi has been a Global Macro Analyst for Crescat since 2014, where his primary focus is on global cross-asset research. He built the firm’s macro model that identifies the current situation of the United States economic cycle through a combination of 16 factors. Prior to joining Crescat, he worked with the underwriting of financial products and in international business at Braservice, a large logistics company in Brazil.

He graduated cum laude from Lindenwood University in St. Louis with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and a minor in Spanish.
He played NCAA Division 1 tennis for Liberty University.
