Tim Wallen is the CEO and Principal of MLG Capital, the premier commercial real estate brokerage and property management company. He leads MLG's long and short-term business strategies, oversees the creation of innovative debt financing structures and helps develop complex partnership structures. He also directs the path of investment and development projects at the firm, including acquisition, sales and marketing, investor recruitment and relations, residential and business park development, and asset disposition. Prior to joining MLG, he started his career as a CPA and Tax Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco and Milwaukee.
Wallen joined MLG in 1989 as Chief Financial Officer and Principal and was appointed CEO in 2000.
Under his leadership, the firm achieved exponential growth, including expanding to nearly 500 employees.
He has been instrumental in the firm's acquisition of over 45 million square feet of commercial real estate property, which includes over 38,000 apartment units, across 19 states, with an exited and estimated current value exceeding $3.5 billion.
Among his various roles, he serves as the Chair of both the firm's Board of Directors and Investment Committee.
He is also an Officer for the MLG Affiliation of Companies, including MLG Capital, MLG Development and MLG Management.

EARLY CAREER
Wallen started his career as a CPA and Tax Manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco and Milwaukee.
During his tenure at PwC, he specialized in income tax planning for partnerships and corporations in the real estate industry.
