Xiamen University
Xiamen University is highly-rated nationally for subjects including journalism, chemistry, and economics. In the 27 schools of the universities, there are 76 departments and 10 research institutions. Out of the 40,000 full-time students on campus, more than 2,800 are international students. Chinese is taught in some programs as a foreign language. The university collaborates with 270 other higher education institutions both in China and abroad.
