Charles Li
Charles Li is currently Senior Advisor to the Board at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. He joined HKEX in 2010 and served as its Chief Executive until 2020. With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Li has gained expertise in corporate and securities law practices, corporate finance, and advisory services in Hong Kong, the Mainland, and New York. He was also the leading figure behind some of the biggest reforms to Hong Kong’s Listing Rules in a quarter-century, opening the door to pre-revenue biotech companies and new economy companies with non-standard share structures for the first time.
