Ben Goertzel is a cross-disciplinary scientist, artificial intelligence researcher and author. Goertzel is the Founder, CEO, and Chief scientist of SingularityNET, the world's leading decentralized AI marketplace. He also serves as Chief scientist of AI firms Singularity Studio, Rejuve, SingularityDAO and Xccelerando Media, all parts of the SingularityNET ecosystem. In addition, he leads the OpenCog Foundation and AGI Society, which runs the annual artificial intelligence conference, and serves as Chair of the transhumanist organization, Humanity+. Goertzel is one of the world’s foremost experts in artificial general intelligence (AGI), a subfield of AI oriented toward creating thinking machines with general cognitive capability at the human level and beyond.
