Andrew Nevin is Partner and Chief Economist at PwC Nigeria. In this role, he leads the economics team towards helping Nigeria improve its business environment to advance investment and inclusive growth. He leverages more than 33 years of extensive experience as an entrepreneur, private equity investor, economist, and strategy consultant. Nevin also advises numerous African banks, insurance companies, and capital market players across strategy, technology, operational, and regulatory matters. He is also a regular TV commentator on the Nigerian economy and contributor to the print media.

  • Nevin started his career at McKinsey & Company, serving in the Toronto and Paris offices.
  • In 2010, he led the creation of Project Blue, PwC’s most comprehensive Financial Services intellectual Thought Leadership.
  • In 2011, he was named Strategy Consultant of the Year for 2010 by the Management Consultants Association in the UK.
  • He is leading PwC Nigeria’s work with Lagos State to improve the Ease of Doing Business.
  • He works at the intersection of economics, strategy, capital markets, and investment.
  • He has done numerous engagements helping global companies in a range of industries look at their options for entering and expanding in Nigeria and Africa.
