Anton LeRoy is CEO of BTIG, a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading, investment banking, research and related brokerage services. LeRoy has risen through the ranks since joining BTIG in 2008. Prior to his current role, he was President of the firm, overseeing BTIG’s global expansion strategy. His focus has been on bolstering the firm’s operations in fixed income, structured products, and investment banking. LeRoy has extensive experience across the brokerage business, where he has specialized in equities, fixed income, currency, commodities, technology and operations throughout his career. His unique background includes leadership roles at several notable firms within the financial services industry. Prior to BTIG, he was a Senior Vice President within Capital Markets at E*TRADE, where he was responsible for the firm’s Global Electronic Trading and Automated Market Making businesses.
As President of BTIG, he was responsible for the firm's global expansion and strategy with a focus on the firm's growth in Fixed Income, Structured Products and Investment Banking.
He has also served as BTIG’s Chief Operating Officer and Head of FICC, overseeing the firm’s global business operations and managing the FICC businesses.
He has been instrumental in establishing and expanding the firm’s strategic partnerships, Capital Markets, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Futures divisions.
EARLY CAREER
In 2000, he joined E*TRADE as Chief Information Officer within the firm's Brokerage units.
Before that, he was a Director and Global Head of Prime Brokerage Technology at Deutsche Bank.
He also served as Vice President within the Emerging Markets division at SBC O'Connor.
