Ara Cohen is the Co-Founder and Co-Portfolio Manager of Knighthead Capital Management, an SEC-registered investment management firm. Prior to this, he served as a Principal at Redwood Capital Management, an investment advisory firm he helped build from a small start-up to a multi-billion dollar fund. Cohen has been involved in the business of investing in debt and equity securities since 1993. He joined King Street Capital in 1998 and became the first investment professional to be admitted after its founding three years prior.
