Ben Miller is the Co-Founder and CEO of Fundrise, the leading real estate crowdfunding platform. He is responsible for covering Fundrise's day-to-day management, real estate investment oversight, and corporate finance, as well as setting the long-term strategy and goals for the company. Under his leadership, Fundrise has become the largest direct-to-investor alternatives investment manager with over $3.3B of equity under management. Miller has over 20 years of experience in real estate and finance, with extensive expertise in both the real estate space and in building innovative alternative investment technology solutions. Prior to Fundrise, he acquired, developed, and financed more than $500 million of property during his tenure as Managing Partner of WestMill Capital Partners and President of Western Development Corp., one of the largest mixed-use real estate development companies in the Washington, DC metro area.
Under his leadership, Fundrise is the first company to successfully crowdfund real estate.
He oversees the long-term strategy and goals for the company, including expanding its offerings to new audiences interested in direct investment in world-class real estate.
He is also responsible for strategic partnerships, deal underwriting, real estate development, and PR.

Miller co-founded Popularise, an online crowdsourcing platform focused on real estate.
He also spent eight years as a Principal at US Nordic Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investments in the Nordic region.
He has worked as an analyst for Lubert-Adler, and was part of the founding staff of Democracy Alliance, a progressive investment collaborative.
