Braden Kowitz is a bestselling author and tech designer who founded the Google Ventures design team in 2009 and pioneered the role of "Design Partner." At GV, Braden advised startups on UX design and product development and co-created Design Sprints, a unique five-day process for solving tough problems using design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers. Prior to joining Google Ventures, Braden led design for several Google products, including Gmail, Google Enterprise, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Trends. Braden was also the Co-Founder of Range, a startup that provides a team communication tool for check-ins and meeting management. He is the author of the New York Times bestselling book "Sprint," and has advised hundreds of startups to design great products and built their own high-functioning design teams through product design, hiring, and team culture. Today, Braden is a Design Manager at Stripe, a global financial infrastructure for businesses, where he is focused on consumer experiences by building consumer-focused products.
