Chris Brady is the Director of Research at Sportsology. He has had a diverse career life—from a lineworker to a claims clerk, from a land surveyor to a semi-professional footballer, and coach to a naval intelligence officer. Brady is a bestselling author of books on various subjects, including U.S. foreign policy, British Cabinet government, and football management. He is also a regular contributor to BBC TV News, Sky Business News, Radio 5 and is a guest contributor to BBC’s Newsnight and a variety of other news media outlets.

Academic History

  • Brady was in the Royal Navy for 16 years and served in the joint HQ intelligence cells during the Falklands, first Gulf, and Balkans crises. 
  • He gained his postgraduate qualifications, in International Relations, during his 16 years in the Royal Navy.
  • As a UEFA ‘A’ Licence coach, he still maintains coaching ties within the Football Association
  • He has appeared as a guest on Real Vision.
