Cory Lester
Cory Lester is Managing Director of Public Assets at Morgan Creek Capital Management. In this current role, he is primarily responsible for hedge fund manager sourcing and due diligence, portfolio management, and topical market research. Lester initially joined MCCM in 2006 and has focused on a wide range of investment strategies across many asset classes and geographies. He started focusing on opportunistic equity across Morgan Creek's various investment solutions and portfolios in 2012.

- Lester joined the firm in 2006 as an analyst.
- He became Co-Portfolio Manager of the Morgan Creek Global Equity Long/Short Institutional Fund (MCGELSIF) and the Morgan Creek Opportunity Fund (MCOF) in 2012.
- He led the transition of MCGELSIF and MCOF to the Hybrid Model in 2013.
- He was responsible for spearheading the firm's co-investment activity in the Alibaba Group during 2014 and 2015.
