In his role, David is responsible for the company's overall business operations and oversees the product, technology, sales and marketing functions. He also led the organizational transformation that enabled the company to scale and set it on its current growth trajectory. Before joining InvestingChannel, he was Vice President of Product at TheMarkets.com, a leading institutional research platform, until the company was acquired by Capital IQ. He began his career with equity research positions in both the United States and Asia. David Kim has a reputation for innovation and excellence, with a particular expertise in building highly functional global teams.

At TheMarkets.com, he launched new revenue-generating products while leading the redesign of the award-winning flagship $50mil+ TMC product.
He also created and implemented TheMarkets.com’s global priority management and SDLC processes. The firm was acquired by S&P for $300 million.
David was a Senior Member of the team that launched Eons.com, a Sequoia Capital and Charles River Ventures backed social networking and media company.
Before joining Eons.com, he served as the General Manager of Lycos Finance, overseeing all global product development, strategy, marketing, and sales initiatives, and leading the sale of Lycos Finance assets to Interactive Data Corporation.
He specializes in building teams and culture, creating strategic roadmaps, growing revenue and running profitable organizations.
