Gideon Greaves

Gideon Greaves is Managing Director for Africa at CV VC, a venture capital and private equity firm with a focus on startups that build on blockchain technology. In his role, he runs CV VC's blockchain and Web3 Africa fund and ecosystem business, CV Labs Africa. He also serves as an investor and director for FueltoFly and Virtue Digital Asset Management, and a director for Greaves Capital, an early stage private equity firm. Greaves is passionate about startups focused on creating innovative solutions and has worked in numerous high impact leadership roles in the tech sector. He has also successfully exited many ventures and worked with various enterprises funding growth strategies. Prior to joining CV VC, he focused on global expansion at SnackMagic, a build-your-own gifting service, and a startup builder and growth advisor at The Delta. Before that, he co-founded Green Machine Foods, an in-office healthy snacking delivery acquired by Montagus Snacks.
