EARLY CAREER
Before transitioning to the digital asset sector, Greg Tusar built an extensive career leading institutional trading technology, execution platforms, and market structure initiatives across major financial institutions.
He co-founded Tagomi in 2018 to solve liquidity fragmentation, capital efficiency, and execution challenges for institutional investors entering the digital asset market.
He served as Head of Global Execution Services and Platforms at KCG Holdings (later acquired by Virtu Financial), overseeing retail market making and institutional execution platforms.
Tusar spent over a decade in leadership roles within Goldman Sachs' electronic trading business. He played a central role in building and expanding the firm's algorithmic trading franchise, working directly with institutional clients to optimize execution performance and reduce market impact costs.
He also represented Goldman Sachs in strategic investments and governance roles across emerging exchange venues, electronic communications networks (ECNs), and core financial technology providers.
