- Fisher first developed and deployed his multi-factor investing strategy based on academic and proprietary research at Gerstein Fisher.
- He was responsible for management and oversight of the investment process, including portfolio management, trading, risk control, and investment strategy development.
- He also spearheaded many research projects on areas of study that have included momentum and valuation models and tax-efficient investment strategies.
- He grew the firm to a $4 billion dollar investment firm before selling it to People's United Advisors.
- Following the sale, he continued to advise the firm and expand the investment division as the Head of Research and Portfolio Strategy.
- He remained Portfolio Manager of the Systematic Global Strategies and Funds until his resignation at the end of 2019.
