Hartley Rogers is the Executive Co-Chairman of Hamilton Lane, one of the largest private markets investment firms globally. He plays pivotal roles in investing and client relationship activities, as well as in strategic and organizational development. He is also a member of Hamilton Lane's Investment Committees and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Rogers is one of the foremost leaders in the private equity space with over 40 years of experience in the private markets. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane, he was a Managing Director in the private equity fund management areas at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Rogers is the Co-Founder of The Amy Falls and Hartley Rogers Foundation, a nonprofit and private family foundation focused on causes related to education, equity and equality. After leading a buyout of the firm in 2003, he and his colleagues transformed Hamilton Lane into the largest private markets asset management firm globally.

Rogers was Managing Director and investment committee member of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, a $5.3 billion private equity fund.
Before that, he was Managing Director in the Private Equity Division of Credit Suisse First Boston.
He was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, where his responsibilities included serving as President of the general partners of the Princes Gate Investors family of private equity funds.
