Jesse Knutson is Head of Operations at Bitfinex Securities, a regulated security token platform offering issuers and traders access to capital and tokenized securities. He is responsible for expanding the platform’s issuance pipeline, overseeing distribution, building its user base and working with regulators. Jesse got into Bitcoin in 2014 through Raoul Pal in Real Vision. Prior to joining Bitfinex, he was Vice President of Financial Products at Blockstream, a global leader in Bitcoin and blockchain technology, where he worked on developing and distributing financial products built on Bitcoin and backed by Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining. Before that, he held roles at prominent global investment banks including Macquarie Group and Barclays Investment Bank.

EARLY CAREER

Jesse was Vice President of Financial Products at Blockstream, where he also hosted the firm's Blockstream Talk podcast.
He was Head of Sales at Taiwan-based MaiCoin, the largest digital asset exchange in Taiwan.
He served as Taiwan Head of Equity Capital Solutions at Macquarie Group, was a Founding Member of the firm's digital asset working group, and led on the firm’s first equity investment into the Bitcoin mining space.
Before joining Macquarie, he was Vice President at Barclays’s Taiwan operation.
