Jonathan Sherry
Jonathan Sherry is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alium, a private community of CIOs seizing opportunities made possible through emerging technology. Jonathan is an investor in numerous enterprise tech startups and venture funds, and builds a stealth venture-backed startup in the enterprise technology space. Prior to founding Alium, he was co-founder and COO of CB Insights, a data, research, and analytics company covering the venture capital landscape. Previously, he pioneered the $50M Chairman's Innovation Fund at American Express, a fund set aside to invest in disruptive business models complementary to the payments space. Jonathan’s experience ranged from executing to overseeing just about every critical part of the business spanning sales to marketing to engineering to data to executive recruiting to finance to human resources.

Jonathan’s proudest achievement at CB Insights is building the company’s most unfair advantage: a high-performing inbound demand generation machine that produces over 30,000 new leads per month.
As both operator and board director, he led CB Insights to many tens of millions in revenue and 250+ employees before leaving the company to start his new venture.
He is a Portfolio Advisor at Pilot Growth Equity where he assists Pilot’s Portfolio in areas of Growth and operations.
His efforts at AmEx earned the honor of Most Admired for Innovation by Fortune magazine.
He worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte where he advised the world's largest financial institutions on internal expansion opportunities.
