Katie Haun is a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. After spending a decade as a federal prosecutor focusing on fraud, cyber, and corporate crime, she is now the first female general partner at the investing powerhouse. In this role, Haun runs the $350 million cryptocurrency fund. She is also an early part of Facebook’s libra launch, making her one of the most recognizable investors in the space. While in the private sector, Haun has testified before both the House and Senate on the intersection of technology and regulation. She created the government’s first cryptocurrency task force.

  • While with the U.S. Department of Justice, Haun prosecuted RICO murders, organized crime, public corruption, gangs, and money laundering. 
    • She led investigations into the Mt. Gox hack and the corrupt agents on the Silk Road task force.
