Lee Cooperman is a Wall Street legend and a highly respected figure in the investment world, known for his acumen, philanthropy, and candid commentary on the markets and economics. Cooperman spent 25 years with Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner and served as Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Chief Investment Officer of the firm’s equity product line including managing the GS Capital Growth Fund. After retiring from Goldman, he launched an investment management business, Omega Advisors, which he ran for 27 years before converting it to a family office at the end of 2018. Today, Cooperman serves as Chairman and CEO of Omega Family Office, where he oversees in excess of $10 billion in assets at its peak. He is the recipient of myriad awards recognizing his professional accomplishments and commitment to philanthropy.
